Rains likely in Odisha during next 48 hrs

Bhubaneswar: Heavy rains are predicted across coastal and south Odisha today under the influence of a cyclonic storm over North Bay of Bengal.

The Bhubaneswar regional weather office further forecast that the cyclonic storm is likely to develop into a low pressure over east-west parts of the sea in the next 48 hours.

With Rath Yatra tomorrow, Jagannath lovers are a worried lot. Today during Nabajoubana besha of the Trinity also heavy showers lashed Puri making it difficult for the devotees to reach the temple. The grand road was waterlogged with drain and rain water.
