Railways conduct trial run between Rajsunakhala and Bolagarh

Khurdha: The Railways today conducted the trial run of train on the new rail line between Rajsunakhala and Bolagarh of ongoing Khurda Road-Balangir project.

Sudarshan Nayak, Chief Commissioner Railway Safety, flagged off the train for the speed trial in presence of top railway officials amid a heavy local crowd.

The railway officials will give report to the department based on which decision will be taken on the regular passenger train service.

The line is scheduled to be commissioned shortly after certification from the Commissioner of Railway (Safety).

ECoR Chief Administrative Officer (Construction) S. B. Ninawe, Divisional Railway Manager/Khurda Road Debaraj Panda, Chief Track Engineer Shri Sankarshan Nayak and Deputy Chief Engineer (Construction), S.K. Parida were also present on the occasion.
