Bhubaneswar: Congress President Rahul Gandhi and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan engaged in a tweet war today over Prime Minister Narendra Modi's promise to upgrade the Ispat General Hospital in Rourkela to a super specialty hospital.

Rahul took to Twitter to share an old video of PM's speech in 2015 in which the latter promised to upgrade the Ispat General hospital in Rourkela.The Congress President accused the PM of fooling the people of Odisha and announced a fund raising campaign for the hospital upgradation.

Responding to Rahul's tweet, Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan accused the Congress president of spreading lies and said that Rs 200 crore has already been allotted for the project.

"Rahul Gandhi’s Fake News Factory manufactures a new lie. Rs 200 crore allotted for Hospital & DPR submitted, but when has Rahul ever bothered about facts! Interesting to see a new scam in form of fund-raising," tweeted Pradhan in reply to Rahul Gandhi.
The video shared by the Congress President also mentioned about Rourkela youth Muktikanta Biswal’s walk up to Delhi to remind PM Modi of his promises about the super specialty hospital and second bridge over Brahmani River.
