Radha Mohan calls on jawans injured in Maoist attack

Berhampur: Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh today met jawans injured during the recent Maoist attack in which one SOG jawan was killed. The Minister urged the red rebels to shun violence and join the mainstream.

Talking to media after a visit to the MKCG hospital here to meet the injured jawans undergoing treatment, Singh said, “The ultras should quit the path of violence and everyone should join hands for nation-building.”

He further stated, “Implementation of Central schemes intended to support economically backward section and boost development in the rural India should be focused.”

Earlier in the day, Singh attended a programme on ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikash’ at Digapahandi.
