Pregnant woman killed in Ambulance accident

Phulbani: A pregnant woman was killed when an Ambulance met with an accident near Shankarakhola in Phulbani.

According to sources, five others were also injured in the accident. An Asha worker was also among the injured.

The deceased has been identified as Kumuduni. Kumuduni was being brought to the hospital from Raikia.

As per the injured driver, the accident occurred at around 3 am when the driver allegedly fell asleep and the ambulance rammed into a tree near a turning in Shankarakhola area.
