Pratap Jena makes surprise visit to Capital hospital

Bhubaneswar: Health minister Pratap Jena made a surprise visit to the Capital Hospital here today for the first time since he assumed office after getting the ministerial berth in the recent Cabinet reshuffle.

The new minister interacted directly with the patients in various wards and discussed the problems. He also enquired about supply of cooked food and free medicines to the patients.

Jena held a formal discussion with the doctors and nurses on duty about the problems related to health centre. He also laid emphasis on the regular attendance of the medical staff.
