Pollution Board official in Vigilance net

Balasore: Vigilance sleuths today conducted simultaneous raids on the office and houses of Rabindra Das, section officer of the regional office of the Odisha State Pollution Control Board (OSPCB) here.

Acting on a complaint, a team of Vigilance officials led by DSP Madhusudan Behera raided the office of Das and his house in Bhaskarganj area in Balasore town, his paternal house at Srirampur village in Bhadrak district and his daughter’s house at Balia in Balasore district.

Talking to media persons, Behera said the Vigilance officials are presently assessing the disproportionate assets of Das and the details would be informed to the media very soon.
