Bhubaneswar: Tightening its noose around Orissa Stevedores Limited (OSL) owner Mahima Mishra and son Charchita Mishra in the Seaways Shipping General Manager murder case, the police verified licence documents of aircraft and helicopter owned by the OSL at the Bhubaneswar airport again today.

Informing media about the aircraft licence documents verification, DGP KB Singh said, “We are trying to find out how helicopter and aircraft of Mahima Mishra was used by the criminals of Jharkhand in murdering the Seaways Shipping General Manager Mahendra Swain.”

Asked about the arrest of Mahima Mishra, Singh stated, “The police have sufficient evidence and will try to arrest Mahima Mishra soon. However, I cannot disclose what lead we have about Mishra’s whereabouts.”

Regarding cancellation of gun licence of Mahima Mishra and son, the DGP said, “The police will seize the fire arms soon as the licences have already been cancelled.”

Notably, a team of Jagatsinghpur Police yesterday inspected the helicopter of the OSL chairman at the Bhubaneswar airport here.

The police have already confirmed the involvement of OSL in the brutal murder case within few days of arrest of five persons including prime accused Rakesh Choubey of Jamshedpur.
