Jharsuguda: The kidnappers of businessman Sambhu Sharma, abducted on March 19 from the district, were successfully nabbed by the police and the ransom money was recovered, informed Jharsuguda SDPO Purushottam Sethi in a Press meet today.

According to sources, Sambhu had been released by the accused abductors after taking a ransom of Rs 10 lakh.

However, Jharsuguda police continued its investigation and was able to arrest four persons. It recovered various deadly weapons, including a pistol, one Bolero and Rs 10 lakh from their possession.

Briefing media persons, SDPO Sethi said, "We were able to arrest four persons after conducting raids at various places. The total ransom money of Rs 10 lakh was recovered from them. The Bolero they had used for kidnapping and four motor cycles were also seized by us."
