Sundergarh: A heavy exchange of fire took place between police and Maoists during a raid on a camp of the red rebels near Lunga hills of Bonai under Sundergarh district.

According to reports, the exchange of fire took place at around 11 pm on Saturday and continued for nearly five hours.
Several Maoist articles including kit bags have been recovered from the spot.
