Bhubaneswar: The Plus Two Instant examination reconducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) began in Odisha this morning.

The examination which began at 10 AM concluded at 1 PM.

The Council has set up 33 centres in all 30 district headquarters, besides one centre each in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Rourkela.

Out of a total of 772 students eligible for the examination, 441 students are appearing in the examination, which will conclude on June 30.

Students who have secured 210 marks but failed in one subject are eligible to appear in the examination.

Talking to OTV, CHSE chairman Prof Basudev Chhatoi said the Theory examination is scheduled on June 27 and 28. Examination in all subjects is being held today barring the Zoology examination, which will be held on June 28. After the Theory examination, the practical examination would be held on June 29 and 30. Students who have failed in the annual practical examination will appear in the examination.

He said the Council used to send the admit cards to the respective examination centres previously. But this year, the admit cards have been sent to the colleges through their respective e-mail ids from where the concerned principals would download these admit cards and distribute among the students.

Biranchi Narayan Mishra, Controller of Examinations, informed that the Council has planned to announce the results 15 days after the conclusion of the examination.
