Bhubaneswar: The Higher Education Department has rescheduled the dates for publication of cut-off mark list for Plus III admissions in Odisha due to some ‘unavoidable reasons’ here on Tuesday.

As per official information, the first selection list that was earlier scheduled to be announced tomorrow has been postponed by a day and will now be published on June 29.

Of the total 90,643 students who appeared the Plus Two examination in science, 73,523 had passed in the examination in science stream this year.

Similarly, 1, 74,237 students had passed the Plus-II examination in arts stream and 20,044 were from commerce stream this year.

The student academic management system (Sams) is conducting the admission process for more than 700 degree colleges across the state.

Earlier, the higher education department had announced publication of the first selection list on June 28, second and third merit lists on July 7 and 16 respectively.

The entire admission process will be completed by July 18 and classes begin from July 19.

The last date for submitting copy of online and offline application forms along with supporting documents and fees at Sams resource centres was June 21.
