Bhubaneswar: Hours after college teachers' association stated that they would not cooperate in the Plus II answer sheet evaluation process beginning from April 4, School and Mass Education Minister Badri Narayan Patra today said there will be no problems as alternative arrangements are in place just like the HSC evaluation process.

"We request the agitating teachers to cooperate in the evaluation process. However, in case they do not relent, there will be no issues as we have made alternative arrangements," stated Patra.

The government will engage teachers of degree colleges for Plus-II evaluation if need arises, he added.

Earlier in the day, the Odisha School College Teachers' and Employees' United Forum said its members would boycott the Plus II answer sheet evaluation process.

Convener of the forum Pabitra Mahala said, "As the government has not fulfilled their demands, they will not participate in the evaluation process. How many time we will be given false assurances?"

In the first phase, evaluation of answer sheets will be done from April 4 to 14 and the second phase will begin from April 16 and continue till April 26, stated deputy exam controller of CHSE, Prabodh Panda.

Plus II theory exams conducted by the CHSE began from March 6 and will continue till March 29 whereas practical exams ended on February 8.
