Pipilia locals sit on dharna; demand flyover on NH-215

Keonjhar:  Demanding construction of flyover on national highway (NH)-215 at Pipilia in Keonjhar district, locals have been staging a mass dharna since last five days.

The agitators claimed that there is direct road connection between tourist place Sitabinji, Patana and Karanjia. Besides vehicles, local people commute on the NH. Since road accidents occur on the road on frequent interval, locals have been demanding construction of a flyover bridge on the road since 2014. However, no steps have been taken so far in this regard, said a villager.

The agitators warned that they would continue their stir unless and until they get special assurance in this regard.
