Bhubaneswar: A woman of Pipili has been missing from Rohini-based Spiritual University of Baba Virender Dev Dixit following raids by the Delhi police since Thursday.

Family members are clueless about the woman and failed to contact her over phone.

Mother of the young woman said, "Though my daughter was in touch earlier, for past few days she has not been calling me up."

Uncle of the young woman said, "In the past, several babas were found involved in sexual misconduct. Therefore, we are apprehensive about her security at the ashram."

On the other hand, the Delhi Police has rescued 46 women following a raid at the Spiritual University's main ashram and two other branches.

Reports say Baba Virender Dev Dixit used to sexually harass women at the ashram.

Swati Maliwal, chairperson of Delhi Commission for Woman, said, "In the ashram, presence of barbed wire and tunnels make thing suspicious."
