Kendrapara: Chief Minister and BJD president Naveen Patnaik today said that party’s Kendrapara observers Usha Devi and Pramilla Mallick will probe into allegations of neglect towards party workers against MP Baijayant Panda.

“Some people from Mahakalpara had come to meet me with their complaints. They gave me a memorandum. I will ask the district observers to enquire the matter,” Patnaik said after meeting Mahakalpara block chairperson Sasmita Baral and her supporters at Naveen Niwas today.

Mahakalpara block chairperson and her supporters today alleged MP Panda of not maintaining any contact with party leaders.

“We believe that the MP is no more within the ideals and ethics of the party. He is not in touch with the party workers of the block so we expressed our resentment against the MP before the party president Naveen Patnaik and have urged him to take action,” said a supporter of  Mahakalpara block chairperson.

Earlier on Sunday, Nischintakoili Panchayat Samiti chairperson had also levelled similar charges against the MP.
