Paralakhemundi: The relatives of Paralakhemundi King Gopinath Gajapati Narayan Deo’s former manager Ananga Manjari Patra moved the Odisha Human Rights Commission (OHRC) today alleging tardy investigation by the Crime Branch Special Investigation Team (SIT) into the mysterious deaths of Ananga Manjari and her three siblings.

Ananga’s brother, two sisters and brother-in-laws visited the OHRC office here and alleged the investigation is going at a very slow pace. They urged the Commission to expedite the probe process.

Notably, the SIT is investigating into the mysterious deaths of the four siblings, including the former manager of the Parala king. Besides examining the suicide notes, the SIT has recorded the statements of several persons in this connection.

It may be mentioned that Patra and her brother Sanjay, both formerly managers to the Parala King were found dead in their home in Paralakhemundi along with sister Bijaylaxmi on August 21. Besides, Ananga’s another brother Tulu Patra was rescued in a critical condition from the spot and later died in the following day at the MKCG medical college and hospital in Berhampur.
