Paradip circle BJP president injured in deadly attack

Paradip: Unidentified miscreants attacked BJP's Paradip circle president, Kailash Sahu near Madhuban Cabin market in Paradip late Wednesday night.

As per sources, Kailash Sahu, a lawyer by profession, was closing his own chamber near Madhuban Cabin Market when he heard some inebriated miscreants creating ruckus in the locality.

When Sahu objected and asked them to leave the place, they allegedly attacked him with wooden planks and sharp weapons following which Sahu sustained injuries on his head.

Critically injured, Sahu was immediately rushed to local Biju Memorial Hospital and later shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack as his condition deteriorated.

Getting information, police rushed to the spot and has launched an investigation into the incident, sources said.

"Sahu has sustained injuries on his head and is reportedly stable. Investigation is on to identify the miscreants. All of them will be arrested soon," said a police official.
