PAC upset over non-issuance of reports on CAG recommendation

Bhubaneswar:  Irked over non-issuance of compliance report and action taken report (ATR) on CAG recommendations, Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairman and Leader of Opposition Narasingha Mishra today directed the state Chief Secretary and Development Commissioner to appear before the committee on Sunday morning.

PAC chairman Narasingha Mishra said 10 departments of the state government have not submitted the ATR basing on the CAG recommendation and compliance report.

Mishra directed the two officials of the state government , Chief Secretary AP Padhi and Development Commissioner R Balakrishnan, to remain present in the next meeting of the PAC
