Bhubaneswar: As many as 48,317 students will appear for the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) in the State tomorrow.

The OJEE-2018 will be conducted at 81 centres in major cities across the State, OJEE chairperson (in-charge), Manish Tripathy informed mediapersons today.

The maximum number of centres has been allotted to the twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar, informed sources.

The first sitting will be held from 9 AM to 12 PM while the second sitting will be held from 2PM to 4 PM.

Examinees have been advised to report at the examination centres 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the examination and will not be allowed to carry any kind of materials other than admit card and PAN card.

OJEE is an annual state level examination conducted by the State government for admission into undergraduate courses in engineering & technology (lateral entry), pharmacy, postgraduate course like MBA, MCA, (lateral entry) MCA, MTECH, MPlan, MARCH, MPHARM and Integrated MBA (5 years) in Universities and government colleges.

Last year, as many as 52,560 students had appeared for the OJEE held on May 14, 2017.
