Bhubaneswar: Odisha Public Service Commission has released notification for the prelim exam for Odisha Civil Services.
The application form will be available on the official website of OPSC from November 30 to December 14. Interested candidates can apply on or before December 12. The last date for the payment of examination fee for the preliminary exam is December 16.

The preliminary exam will be done against a total of 106 vacancies.
(i) UR-50 (17-women)
(ii) SEBC-13 (5-women)
(iii) SC- 21(6-women)
(iv) ST- 22 (8-women)
(v) PWD- 5
Candidates will have to shell out Rs 300 as exam fee which is non-refundable and non-adjustable.
Meanwhile, candidates belonging to SC/ST and persons with more than 40 per cent disability are exempted from the payment of the fee.
A candidate must be under 32 years of age and over 21 years of age as on January 1, 2017 - not born earlier than January 2, 1985 AND later than January 1, 1996. Age relaxation is there as per the norms.
In case of educational qualification, candidates applying must possess a Bachelor’s Degree.
The prelim exam will be consists of two papers of objective type.
(a) General Studies - Paper 1 – 200 marks
(b) General Studies – paper 2 – 200 Marks
The Prelim exam is scheduled to be held on December 24, 2017.
