Bhubaneswar: One more person succumbed to swine flu today taking the death toll to 27 in Odisha, Health Department statement said on Sunday.

The death was reported from Kalinga Hospital in Bhubaneswar. The patient was suffering from multiple myeloma and had developed respiratory distress. He was also undergoing dialysis, the statement added.

The total number of patients went up to 292 in State so far as two tested positive for the H1N1 virus out of 18 swab samples examined today. Both the patients were identified as males and one was a resident of Keonjhar while the other one was from Jagatsinghpur.
