Bhubaneswar: Swine flu claimed four more lives taking the toll to 20 so far in the State, informed the Health department today.

While three persons, identified as residents of Bhubaneswar and Balasore, succumbed to the disease at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack, one died at AMRI, Bhubaneswar.

Similarly, eight more swabs out of 29 tested positive for the vector borne disease. Total 678 samples have been tested so far out of which 235 have tested positive in State so far.

Early in the morning, nodal officer of swine flu ward at SCB Manoranjan Patnaik had informed the hospital had recorded four swine flu deaths. Later, the number had reached five with the death of a woman from Bhubaneswar.
