Olympian Dutee Chand’s car torched by miscreants

Jajpur: In a shocking incident, the car of ace sprinter Dutee Chand was set on fire by some unidentified miscreants at Gopalpur village in Jajpur district Sunday night.

Informed by the neighbours, Dutee's family members, reportedly, found the Nano car, which was parked outside their house, damaged on Monday morning.

Later, Dutee’s father lodged an FIR at Kuakhia police station.

The UP government had awarded the car to Dutee in recognition of her performance in a competition held in the state in 2013.
