Ollywood star Archita denies chit fund links

Bhubaneswar: Popular Odia film actress Archita Sahu has denied having any chit fund links or having persuaded people to invest in any chit fund companies.

Some investors had alleged that Archita, one of the most sought after actresses in Ollywood, had participated in stage shows and induced them to invest money in such companies.

Pravati N Swain, one of the investors who had invested money in Oscar chit fund company, has alleged that the actress was involved with the tainted firm.

Denying any of such links, she said she was neither involved with any chit fund firms including Oscar chit fund nor encouraged people to invest their money in an such company.

It may be mentioned here that the actor-turned-politicians affiliated to BJD like Anubhav Mohanty, Siddhant Mohapatra and Papu Pom Pom are in the dock for having acted in films produced by chit fund firms.
