Bhubaneswar: The Enforcement Directorate today quizzed Odia actor Sritam Das for his alleged links with chief of Star Consultancy chit fund firm, Triveni Mohanty, reportedly on chit fund money used for Odia film 'Tu Tha Mu Jauchi Rusi'.

Das was the director & actor in the movie made in the year 2010 and it was produced by Mohanty, who is currently absconding.

Das, who was grilled by the ED for 6 hours today said that he was unaware of the fact that chit fund money was used in his movie.

"I was not aware about chit fund money used in my movie and if it is established, I will return the money," Das said.

Till now ED has attached total properties worth Rs 83 lakh of the chit fund company.

The investigating agency is interrogating 15 persons in connection with the Star Consultancy chit fund case in which an alleged fraud to the tune of Rs 200 crore had taken place.

On the other hand, chief of chit fund company Seashore group, Prasant Dash was interrogated by the CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) today in Bhubaneswar. For the second consecutive day today, Dash appeared before the investigation agency.

Yesterday, CBI had grilled former IAS officer Sangram Keshari Ray for almost 3 hours in connection with the Seashore chit fund scam.

The investigating agency had summoned Ray and another bureaucrat Parag Gupta on Sunday.
