Olly awarded: CM Naveen felicitates five students who dressed as AAC mascot

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday handed over cash awards to the five students who had turned the star attraction by dressing up as the mascot Olly of the recently concluded 22nd Asian Athletics Championships here in the city.

The five students who wore the costume of the Olly mascot worked hard during the event to entertain the public and also to promote the mega event. Wearing the synthetic dress designed for the turtle, they were able to drag the attention of people, especially kids.

The CM handed over cash rewards of Rs 25,000 to each of the five students at a function organised here in the Capital city today.

Earlier, the CM had felicitated medal winners of the Indian contingent at the championships with cash awards- Rs 10 lakh for gold medal winners, Rs 7.5 lakh for silver medalists and Rs 5 lakh each to bronze medalists.
