Bhubaneswar: As many as 52,560 students appeared the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE)-Mains that is being conducted across the State here on Sunday.

The OJEE is being held in total 88 centres in 21 cities spread across the state. The test scheduled to be held in three sittings and the first sitting began at 9 am today. The next sittings are scheduled for 12 to 1 pm and 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm today.

Elaborate measures have been undertaken by the authorities for the smooth conduct of the OJEE 2017.

OJEE Chairman Tushar Kumar Nath said “The details of the exam paper, exam centre’s address, timings and all have been intimated through the admit card. Students have been instructed to take only their admit card and pen but no other electronic gadgets,”

OJEE is the special examination for entry into various disciplines like MBA, MCA, pharmacy, lateral entry for engineering and technology.
