Bhubaneswar: Odisha boy Jyoti Ranjan Sahu has finally made it to the second round of the Super Dancer Chapter 2 auditions that was telecast on Sunday evening. He will be contesting with many other participants in the dance reality show meant for children.

During his performance, he made the judges Geeta Kapur, Shilpa Shetty and Anurag Basu appreciate each dance move he did with finesse. All the three judges gave him a standing ovation in the presence of his parents.

"I feel you are a 'dancing hero' and am surprised at your mastery in the contemporary dance form. Your hard work and dedication shows and it is because of your guru. But I must also say, given the expertise of our gurus here in the show, you will certainly emerge a great dancer and your skills will be fine tuned," said Geeta Kapur.

The young dancer requested Shilpa Shetty to do some yoga poses with him. Though Shetty went on to the stage, she bowed to the prodigy in appreciation. "Aapko Shastang Pranam," she said. Even Basu did Shavasana with Jyoti on stage.

Though there are a couple of more stages in the dance show to reach the top 12 through mega auditions, hopes will be pinned on the child talent to continue his winning streak. Earlier this week another youngster from Odisha Sabyasachi Satpathy had also entered the Bigg Boss house as a part of a reality show on Colors.

Super Dancer Chapter 2 began last week on Sony and is  telecast every Saturday and Sunday at 8 pm.
