Bengaluru/ Bhubaneswar: Odisha government is all set to hold an investors’ meet in Bengaluru tomorrow as part of its year-long celebrations to mark 80 years of the state and the birth centenary of former Chief Minister Biju Patnaik.

“We will meet some businessmen tomorrow. On August 26, CM Naveen Patanik will meet the captains of the industry. We have also invited around 300 to 500 interested investors in related sectors with whom we will also have a one-on-one discussions the same day,” informed Industries minister Debi Prasad Mishra.

“Every State is trying to attract investment and FDI. Let them do it. I wish Odisha all the success in this endeavor,” said Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaih.

According to sources, Odisha is targeting to attract investments in sectors like Manufacturing, IT, Electronics, Petrochemicals, Food Processing, and Tourism.

The ministers of Revenue, Industries and IT of Odisha, along with senior government officials, will meet over 40 companies and investors tomorrow, informed sources.
