Odisha Secretariat employee accused of sexual harassment

Bhubaneswar: In a shocking incident, an employee of the Odisha Secretariat has been accused of sexually harassing a woman of Badampahar block in Mayurbhanj district on the pretext of marriage.

As per the complaint filed by the woman, the accused had allegedly established physical relation with her on the pretext of marriage. He had also brought her to the Capital city and they started staying together at a rented house near Khandagiri.

However, the Secretariat employee started sexually assaulting her and forced her to indulge in illicit activities.

She has also mentioned in her complaint that several other women are also forced to carry out such illicit activities in the area.

Meanwhile, Odisha BJP Mahila Morcha has demanded immediate action and arrest of the Secretariat employee.
