Being one we have to take oath at Assembly for development of society excluding discrimination on basis of party, belief, caste and colour."

Similarly Holi was celebrated by Congress at Congress Bhawan in Bhubaneswar. Many senior leaders and party activists gathered there exchanged sweets among them and expressed Holi greetings.

Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) chief Prasad Harichandan celebrating Holi with blind children said, "The festival has great importance in our social lives, it is a festival of enjoyment, of togetherness, of colours, of happiness which we are celebrating with the children.
