Bhubaneswar/New Delhi: "Odisha Parba 2017" begun at India Gate Lawns in New Delhi today to showcase the rich heritage and exhibit the vibrant socio-cultural landscape of the state.

Organised by Odia Samaj in New Delhi, the event will continue for three days and offer glimpses into the history  and tradition Odisha from Khandagiri Caves to Puri Rath Yatra.

While Pipli Applique is attracting the visitors at the Parba, sand art by internationally renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik is expected to be a crowd puller.

The food court at the fest will be offering a mouth-watering menu of Odia delicacies including Raghu Dahibara,  Dilbahar Lassi & Atmaram Sweets from Cuttack, Kendrapada Rasabali, Odia Thali by Odisha Hotel.

Dance and music shows on Odisha’s various traditional folk, Odissi, fusion, contemporary forms will be performed by eminent artists in the evening during the three-day event.
