Odisha Guv SC Jamir unwell, rushed to Apollo Hospital

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Governor SC Jamir has been admitted to Apollo Hospital in the state capital today after his health condition deteriorated following some days’ of uneasiness since October 15. According to sources, the Governor complained of chest pain and also faced some discomfort while eating.

Cardiac specialist of the Apollo Hospital Dr PK Sahu said although the condition of the Governor is stable, he has been kept under observation.

“After preliminary check-ups we found that the Governor had sustained a mild attack earlier today morning. Since heart attack is very unpredictable he will remain under observation today,” Sahu said.

All the necessary tests like ECG, blood tests have been performed and he is communicating well. All the reports are normal except a mild change in ECG report. If his health shows signs of improvement then he might be discharged by tomorrow, Sahu added.
