Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Saturday asked all the district collectors to submit a report on crop loss due to untimely rain within a period of seven days.

Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) Bishnupada Sethi has written a letter to all district collectors to send report of crop loss due to the unseasonal rain to the state government within November 25, the sources said.

The government is likely to announce a fresh package for affected farmers after getting information from the district collectors.
