Jajpur: Health Minister Pratap Jena on Thursday visited tribal-dominated Nagada village under Sukinda block in Jajpur district and inquired about health condition of malnourished children in the area.

The Minister also reviewed healthcare services and other facilities available in the area.

The move came a few days after OTV broadcast a report on how children in the tribal area continue to be malnourished even after a year of the incidence of multiple child deaths due to undernourishment that hit the headlines not only in the nation but worldwide.

However, the Minister said the situation has improved in the last one year.
