Cuttack: After taking a unanimous decision to abide by the reforms recommended by the Supreme Court-appointed Lodha Committee, officials of the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) today filed an affidavit in the apex court on implementation of the recommendations.

As per the recommendations of the Lodha Committee, elections to the post of various office bearers of OCA should be completed by November this year.

The elections were necessitated following resignation of Ranjib Biswal and Asirbad Behera as OCA president and secretary, respectively.

“We have already filed an affidavit. The date of hearing is on October 30. If the SC orders to conduct elections within one month, we are ready for it. At first we have to change all the by-laws,” OCA working committee chairman, Dhiren Palai told OTV.
