Odisha Civil Services Exam results out; Chinmayee Dash topper

Bhubaneswar: Chinmayee Chetna Dash has topped the order of merit among 145 candidates who have successfully cleared the Odisha Civil Services Examination 2016 conducted by the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC).

The results were declared by the commission this evening and are available on the official website (www.opsc.gov.in/).

As per the notification, the commission has provisionally selected the 145 candidates based on the personality test of the Odisha Civil Services Exam that was held from February 12 to February 28, 2018.

The OPSC selected the candidates to fill up OAS-A(JB), OFS-A(JB) and OPS-A(JB) posts, the notification read.

Talking to mediapersons, topper Chinmayee said, "I am glad to clear the exam in my first attempt. I concentrated on the quality of work but not on hours of study. It depends on preference of the subject and it's better to take an optional subject as per one's liking.

She gave the credit of her success to her parents, family and teachers and said she will work for the betterment of women if she gets a chance.
