Bhubaneswar: Satyapir Pradhan of Bhawanipatna today made an entry into the prestigious Guinness Book of Records for most number of full contact punch strikes in one minute. He broke the record earlier held by a Pakistani.

Pradhan had earlier requested Guinness Book of World Records authorities to consider him for a trail of 400 punches in a minute which the record officials had granted.

In an event at Hi-Tech Medical College in the Capital city on Tuesday, Pradhan scored 393 punches in one min breaking the 377 punches record of Pakistan's Mohammad Rashid.

A Physiotherapy student, Pradhan who is well trained in martial arts, says he wishes to break the record in double hand punch strikes as well.
