Bhubaneswar: State BJP today released an audio CD and a poster for welcoming the party national president Amit Shah who would be visiting Odisha on a three-day tour from July 3. Hoardings and cut-outs have been placed at various places in the capital city to welcome Shah.

With the slogan ‘Mo Booth Sabuthu Majboot' in the poster, the party has called upon people of Odisha to fight for their rights. Besides, giving a message that strengthening of booths will help develop Odisha, achievements of the BJP during the last three years of the NDA government are also mentioned on the poster.

The poster also carries facts regarding the funds allocated to the State Government by the Centre and how inactiveness of the former has resulted as a barrier in development process.

Talking to media persons, Odisha BJP vice-president Sameer Mohanty said, "The aim of the programme is to find out how far the support rendered by the Prime Minister during the last three years for people of Odisha has reached them."

On the other hand BJD spokesperson Amar Satpathy said, "They will not be able to reach the grassroots level, discussions will only be held in mass media to flaunt outside the state about their organisation in Odisha. There is no restriction for such organisation but the tour with such a motive of Centre against state government will boomerang on them."
