Odia tribal girl Sirisa breaks into India U-18 volleyball team

Kalimela: Setting an inspiring example for tribal girl students of Malkangiri district, a student of Kalimela Kanya Ashram, Sirisa Karami has made it into the India under-18 Volleyball team.

Studying in Class 10, Sirisa’s performance caught the eye of the selectors when she was representing Odisha during the quarter final match at a tournament at Ernakulam in Kerala.

According to sources, she will be sent to Aurangabad for 1-month training. After completion of the training she will be playing her debut match for India in China.
