Odia techie murdered in Bengaluru

Bengaluru/ Bhubaneswar: A software engineer from Odisha was brutally stabbed to death in Bengaluru on Monday. The deceased has been identified as Pranaya Mishra (28) of Bhubaneswar.

According to sources, while Pranay was on his way to meet his friend, two unidentified miscreants stopped his bike and stabbed him twice in his stomach on Monday.

Pranay, who works at Accenture, was at his friend’s room in Begur before the incident occurred.

The motive behind the murder is still unclear.

Local police have started a probe into the incident based on the CCTV camera footages in and around the crime scene.
