Puri: Dogma, an Odia film based on superstitions which are still being followed in rural parts of Odisha was the main attraction on the third day of the annual Bring Your Own Film Festival (BYOFF) organized in Puri.

The film, directed by Ankit, illustrates how people in the State, particularly in rural areas still believe in superstitious practices like witchcraft.
"The film is based on my village, where people are still believing in witchcraft or witch-hunting. The main reason why such practices thrive is fear," said Ankit.

Various types of films including animated movies are being showcased at the festival. The five-day event being held at Puri sea beach will conclude on Sunday.
