Odia bureaucrat Anant Nanda appointed secretary of Postal Dept

New Delhi: Senior bureaucrat Anant Narayan Nanda was on Saturday appointed as the secretary of Department of Posts. Nanda belongs to Balasore district of Odisha.

The Appointments Committee of Cabinet has approved his appointment, an order issued by Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) said.

He has been appointed in place of Boyapati Venkat Sudhakar, the order said.

Nanda is an Indian Postal Service officer of 1982 batch. He graduated from Fakir Mohan University in Balasore and completed in his post-graduation from Utkal University,Bhubaneswar.
