Meanwhile, a delegation of Sri Lanka cricket board visited Barabati stadium to take stock of the infrastructure yesterday in Cuttack ahead of the crucial match.

Head of cricket operations, Sri Lanka Cricket Board, Chandima Mapatuna and Sumeet Mallapurkar, assistant manager cricket operations of BCCI, examined the pitch, player's dressing room, galleries and other infrastructure of the stadium.

Mapatuna expressed satisfaction over the facilities and other infrastructure at the sole cricket stadium in Odisha.

Moreover, it would also be a litmus test for OCA officials as Barabati had invited criticism following unruly crowd behaviour where bottles were hurled onto the field during the T20 match between India and South Africa on October 5, 2015.
