Nursing student’s hair cut, face smeared with ink in hostel

Sambalpur: Hair of a girl student was cut by her fellow students at a private nursing home in Sambalpur in an alleged case of ragging today.

As per an FIR lodged at Dhanupali police station, the face of the girl was smeared with black ink after the hair was cut. The incident occurred in the hostel the girls were staying in.

Meanwhile, police has detained the owner of the nursing school and the caretaker of the hostel for further interrogation.
