Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today asked the district collectors to stop collecting the PC or percentage from contractors for undertaking government work orders at block level in the State.

During the second session of district collectors’ conference beginning Sunday here, Patnaik told, “The PC collection system should be stopped.”

He further stated, "The district collectors should act as agents of change for betterment of public service delivery service mechanism of the State government and transform lives by ensuring best public services using 3Ts – Technology, Teamwork and Transparency on regular basis."

Patnaik added he would review the Collectors' performance on progress of different development projects on a regular basis.

Besides, a web portal has been developed by the State government to receive feedback from people of Odisha by June 30 to improve service delivery, he informed.
