Bhubaneswar: Citing that the Annual HSC examinations are round the corner, the Odisha government today refused to make special arrangements in schools for broadcast of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Pareeksha Pe Charcha' a programme which aims to share tips on stress-free examination and will be aired via video conferencing tomorrow.
Briefing mediapersons, Odisha School and Mass Education Minister Badri Narayan Patra said since annual Matric examination in Odisha will be held from February 23, it would be improper to make arrangements for broadcast of the programme in schools.
"Students interested can watch PM's programme anywhere they like since it will not be broadcast on a single channel or platform, but we don't think that arranging such programmes in schools at present would be prudent," Patra said.
Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar had earlier requested all states including Odisha to make all necessary arrangements in schools to help students listen to the PM's programme.
Recently, PM Modi had penned a book named Exam Warriors in which he has advised students on how to fight exam pressure along with tips on yoga and pranayama.
