Bhubaneswar: Taking a dig at Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today said the CM’s credibility as an administrator has been exposed by the Supreme Court’s (SC) ruling on mines scam in the State.

The Outlook India Speakout best administrator award is just a publicity stunt and like blowing one’s own trumpet. The SC verdict on illegal mining in the State is an eye-opener as BJD is involved in the mining loot to the tune of crores in the State, said Pradhan.

Responding to a media query on a possible BJP-BJD coalition in 2019, the Union Minister said the Saffron party will form the government in Odisha on its own.

Pradhan proclaimed party national president Amit Shah as Chanakya and said, “When Chanakya himself is planning BJP’s roadmap to oust the corrupt and apathetic government in the State, there’s no need of any coalition.”

“We lost 120 seats here by a low margin. By strengthening the party at the booth level, we will win all those seats in 2019,” said Pradhan.
