Naveen to attend key meeting on Sagarmala project today

Bhubaneswar/ New Delhi: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, who is on a five-day visit to the national capital, will attend the second apex committee meeting of the National Sagarmala project on Saturday.

According to sources, the Chief Minister is also scheduled to meet Union minister for Road Transport and Highways and Shipping Nitin Gadkari today.

Patnaik is also likely to hold discussions with some other Union ministers during his visit to Delhi, the sources added.

The prime objective of the Sagarmala project is to promote port-led direct and indirect development and to provide infrastructure to transport goods to and from ports quickly, efficiently and cost-effectively
